Joyce Alla - Freelance Writer

I'm a freelance writer who loves a good story. Whether sharing a personal experience in essay form, or covering an assignment for a feature story or marketing piece, I always looks for the human element to inspire, motivate and emotionally move the reader. I've been writing for 15 years, and my work has appeared in The Boston Globe Magazine, Parents Magazine, Family Fun magazine, The Bucket ezine, and local papers and magazines on Boston's North Shore.  I have a BA in Comparative Literature and an MA in English with a focus in Writing.

I love to research and take on new topics, but some of my current passions are -- live music, upcycle sewing,  and thrifting for collecting or resale.
